PanPastel Artists' Pastels

The unique formula contains minimal binding medium and fillers, resulting in rich and ultra-soft pastels with virtually no dust. Their cake-like format enables the pastel colors to be mixed and applied like paint using PanPastels’ specially designed Sofft Tools With this line of sponges and applicators, PanPastels give you the freedom to achieve uniform coverage for large areas of color in seconds as well as applying ultra-thin glazing layers.

PanPastels are intermixable, eliminating the need to invest in hundreds of colors for a complete pastel palette. They work wonderfully in conjunction with traditional pastel sticks, as well as with other dry media such as colored pencil and charcoal. The clever interlocking packaging allows these 9 ml pans to be stacked together securely for easy storage or travel for Plein air painters. PanPastels will not dry out, and the Sofft Tools are easily washable and reusable.
