The Schmincke HORADAM Aquarell Supergranulation Watercolors consist of two special properties that set them apart from the rest. The union of at least 2 granulating HORADAM pigments in each tube is responsible for the effect known as “supergranulation”. Every color is made from different pigments of various color ranges, resulting in color changes besides the granulation effect. For stronger granulation, rough textured paper is recommended. All supergranulating HORADAM Aquarell colors are lightfast and semi-transparent/semi-opaque.
