Schmincke has formulated binders for artists aspiring to grind their own colors. The Schmincke binders are compatible with Schmincke pigments, making it easier to create your own watercolors, gouache, linoprint, acrylic, and oil paints. All binders can be thinned with water. The watercolor, gouache, and linolprint binders dry to a wipe resistant film but stay water-soluble. Acrylic binder forms a water-resistant film quickly. Both the acrylic and oil binders are little to non-yellowing. Shake before use.
