3M - SandBlaster Sanding Pads and Sponges

SandBlaster Sanding Pads and Sponges

Strip years of finish buildup without constant pad replacement

These last longer and sand faster than 3M conventional pads of comparable grit. Using proprietary constructions and manufacturing technology, 3M has created pads which maintain their inherent, high-performing cutting ability. In addition, each has been coated to resist clogging and build-up. Choose the grit level that's right for your needs: 60--course for moderate stripping; ideal for removing old paint, varnish, and clear-coat finishes on wood and metal. 100--medium for surface leveling; ideal for preparing bare wood, metal, and drywall surfaces prior to first coat of finish. 150--medium for surface smoothing; ideal for preparing bare wood, metal, and drywall surfaces prior to first coat of finish. 180--fine for sanding between coats; ideal for preparing freshly coated wood or metal surfaces prior to next coat. Pads measure 4 1/2 in. x 5 1/2 in. x 3/16 in. Recommended for round or highly contoured surfaces. Sponges measre 3 3/4 in. x 2 5/8 in. x 1 in. Recommended for flat or slightly contoured surfaces.
